Capriccio Columbus | Big Band Bash

Capriccio Columbus held their 2022 annual gala at the historic Valley Dale Ballroom. The evening was alive with dancing, performances by Capriccio and the Rick Brunetto Big Band, and an auction full of exciting items.

Stepping into the Valley Dale Ballroom is like being instantly transported into the big band golden era. The building dates back to 1925 and became a nationally known venue, hosting such famous performers as Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington, Frank Sinatra, and Dean Martin, to name a few.

Capriccio Columbus joined together with the current household band of the Valley Dale, the Rick Brunetto Big Band, for an evening of musical performances, dancing, and fundraising.

This was really a fantastic event and venue to photograph. The ballroom has been so well preserved and the variety of performances and lighting setups made for some beautiful photos of the space.
