Newborn Fall Photos | Aurea

While we don't currently offer newborn photo sessions, we were thrilled at the opportunity to photograph little Aurea when our good friends asked us. She's the sweetest little thing and we had such a blast spending time with the family and capturing shots of her that we can all look back on for years.

For this at home session we decided to play with a few simple ideas and first got shots of Aurea in a dress and bow outfit, then wrapped up in her blanket with an adorable matching bow. She was nestled into a basket while she slowly came around from her nap. The timing for these photos was perfect since she was still feeling sleepy and wasn't squirmy at all.

Then we got a few shots of Aurea wrapped up in a nice, fluffy blanket while she was awake. We grabbed a couple photos incorporating her older brother as well as mom and dad, which are some of our favorites.

Finally we had to experiment with a timely baby-in-a-pumpkin shot! The family has a fantastic garden along the side of the house and grew their own pumpkins, so they carved one out and even warmed it up to make Aurea more comfortable. She wasn't having it at all though! What we did get were a few hilarious and candid shots that they can use down the road to embarrass her with.
